The Hive is an app that stemmed from trying to improve the library experience for the average college student. After researching and talking with student we understood that young people are looking for digital solutions to their problem. With that in mind, we designed an app that would deliver library books to you and eliminate the need to even step into a library.

In the Amazon Prime day and age, we expect to be able to get anything delivered. So why not library books? Using crowdsourcing to deliver books, students are able to search the library catalog, check availability, and get books delivered same day. This alleviates the need to even step into the library, preventing the stress and frustration that comes with it.
